Update 46        Clouds are dancing inside of my mind. 7.27.08

Well, an old friend has told me I’m making every one of the Top 10 Weblog Design Mistakes. Though overall I disagree, I’m happy to hear his input, because Lord knows I could use the help. If you have any advice, or requests, feel free to contact me at RadiationAngels@aol.com.

Those of you who are keeping up with this page (yes, both of you) I realize that it has been a while. The constant flow of good news and bad, of success and failure, has created something of a tornado inside of my skull, and I am desperately in need of a few days off. I’ve been looking for a new apartment, my computer had a fatal and unrecoverable error, and things have been rough at the day job.

But I can’t complain too much, I had a long overdue vacation with my children to visit the grandparents and great-grandparents… I think I’ve found on of the coolest apartments known to mankind…

Most importantly, I have received confirmation from my publisher that they have accepted The Radiation Angels: The Key to Damocles! Not just that, but they are preparing to release the RA short story: First Drop. If that wasn’t enough, Breach the Hull has been nominated (and is a finalist) for a Dream Realm Award! Bad-Ass Faeries has also been nominated, and while it doesn’t affect me directly, it is good news for a load of cool people, and it bodes well for Bad-Ass Faeries 2!

The reviews have started rolling in for Bad-Ass Faeries 2, and so far I/We am/are getting thumbs up all around.

As we pass the midpoint of the year I have to do some quick math: I have three more shorts accepted for printing, and a fantasy novel half completed. I think I’m doing pretty well. Now I’m hoping I can double my writing schedule without acting like a victim of the merciless pepper of Quetzlzacatenango.

Yes, ok. I manufactured a reason to spell out Quetzlzacatenango and Xt’apalatakettle. Ok, it’s been a slow, painful week and I deserve to entertain myself.

More when the story is released, and I’ll keep you all up to date on anything else that comes my way.
